CLARENS - FUN DAYS OUT

When faced with the last entry in this months TRAVEL & RELAXATION, featuring FUN DAYS OUT, where you can spend the entire day in one area and do as little or as much as is available, but under the premise that you have to have fun, you have to relax and you have to enjoy the scenery, we couldn't miss out on this TOTAL GEM.

We haven't done enough yet in the FREE-STATE, and its about time too. 

Meet...

This really is one of the prettiest towns in the country, its remote, its romantic, its beautiful, and it only has 7000 residents, making it a best kept gem, untainted and simply beautiful. BUT there is actually so much to do here. 

You can come to a small town, get through it a day, and do a lot, but stay a weekend, and do more. They have 4x4ing, Archery, Fly-Fishing, Hiking, Horse Riding, incredible Art Galleries (there are 15), you can go to the Golden Gate National Park, Mushroom Rock, Surrender Hills, Titanic Rock, Fertility Caves (I know right?!), and you can stay in your very own Castle, complete with Rapunzel Tower. 

Clarins has it all, Game Farms, Guest Houses and its own Casino, but what we love the most are the festivals and entertainment....always something happening, such as these up coming events: Cheery MTB Race, Cherry Festival, Cherry Festival Run, Community Braai, Golf Days, and the Clarins Beer Fest, (They have their own Brewery...LOVE!) 

Or you can just go and eat, alot, and anyone of their awesome restaurants, AGAIN, its one of those places you have go to at least once, but give it at least a full day and plan it, get the most out of it.
