So what makes this place special, besides its location, is the atmosphere, its just awesome, and friendly.

They exist to produce a family of health-conscious urban dwellers through group workouts, various gym memberships types, personal training and team building sessions.

Their gym facility includes Cardio Equipment, Weight Training and Functional Fitness Equipment.
The Group Workouts include Boxercise, which also includes cardio, core and strength work, as well as good old beating up the bag. They also offer Functional Fitness, which we all know by now is one of the best ways to train, it'll firm everything, eliminate fat, all the while optimising your fitness levels for day-to-day existence. (We also know that they host Yoga there, enquire about that. Its the perfect combination.)

The main man is awesome, STANLEY NDLOVU, started his boxing career in Venda, where he joined his first boxing club. And during the riot sin the 70's, he used boxing as a means to get the children off the streets. He is also the man responsible for the career start of Takalani Ndlovu, who is one of our greats, as well as Olympic contender Khotso Motau. Takalani won IBF & WBO titles with Sir Stan at his side.

TRAIN GYM - Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal (BOXING STUDIOS)

In our continued efforts in search of awesome boxing studios, we found another one to feature in FITNESS TRAINING & ACTIVITIES this month, it really is such an awesome and emotionally freeing exercise form. DO IT NOW!!!

Meet, Durban's...
Firstly, this is a beautiful pad they have here, its one of those places you just want to go in, its really cool. But on a more serious note, TRAIN GYM is a Sports Performance Centre where they train you their way, different to the norm, and they get you the results you really want...but you have to play along and work for it.

They specialize in Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Crossfit, Animal Training and Bootcamp, and along with that they will give you the best BOXING TRAINING. Train like a boxer, think like a boxer, and be pushed like never before, see results like never before, and its aimed at MEN & WOMEN!!! (And if you want to fight for real, they will get you there.)

But they also offer Group Training, which feels like personal training, as well as Krav Maga, which is the Israeli styled Martial Arts adopted by the Israeli Defence Force.

It really is kinda an all-in-one gym, and its awesome....see for yourself @ www.traingym.co.za

WWW.CAPEMARKETS.CO.ZA & EARTH FAIR MARKET - Cape Town, Western Cape (ORGANIC FOODIE MARKETS)

Ooooh, we found a real goodie, and surprise surprise, its all happening in the fairest Western Cape, SO  UNFAIR, they really do have everything that's uber cool there, AND AGAIN, making a decision was seriously difficult as there really is a phenomenal selection. But still, we're happy, cause we can visit, repeatedly and do them all.

This month we are focusing on ORGANIC FOOD MARKETS in South Africa, as part of our MEDIA & GASTRONOMY section, and we are also making fabulous mention of the Foodie/ Market Sites that we found them on.

So excited, meet both...

www.capemarkets.co.za is the creation of Pia Taylor, creator and editor or Mother City Living, a popular blog dedicated to green-living in Cape Town. You'll see her, every weekend, basket in hand, foraging happily at fresh produce and craft markets, festivals and fairs.

And thank goodness for that, she obviously is really scoping out the talent and bringing it to us in a fabulous blog/ website format that allows us the inside scope of whats awesome in the world of market-ing, and where to find the organic/ fresh produce markets. So often this is the best, or only, way to shop for your weekly stock up, cause you can see the freshness. and you can tell that these farmers products are good to go chemical free produce.

Wow, has she found a stack of awesome places to go to, and has made it so easy to find what you want, as there is a CALENDAR OF EVENTS & MARKET BUZZ, but more importantly, there are the MARKETS & PRODUCERS search engines, and there you will find Market Days, Market Types, Market Locations and Annual Markets.

She also provides a Featured Markets section and gives us an Editors Pick selection. and in the PRODUCERS section its further separated to Food & Drink, Crafts & Goods, as well as Body & Mind. And she gives you the inside scoop on many of the Producers and the products. LOVE THIS WOMAN!!!

So we choose one of our favourite markets, and this is it... EARTH MARKET FAIR!!!

This fabulous market isn't just a one-spotter market, as there are two actually, one is found in the Main Rd Tokai, on a Wednesday & Saturday, and the other is found in the beautiful tree lined Upper St Georges Mall, but only on a Thursday.

Each market has its own identity, the Saturday Tokai Market is all about the weekly shopping, and Wednesday is a buzzing hub of top up shopping, delicious dinner and drinks stuff, which is super clever, we like. As for the Thursday St Georges St Market, that's a vibey outdoor market in the heart of the City, and the best option we might have for a European street market, in the Cape. Both markets giving you the best of the Cape.

Earth Fair has the best selection of fresh produce shopping traders in the Cape. The Saturday Market has 5 free-range meat traders, 2 vegetable traders, 1 being organic, and there are cheese, breads, speciality breads, fish, farm dairy, patisserie, pet foods and pretty much everything you would need for your weekly shop.

There are even Craft Beers and Little Peoples Corners, so awesome, its a total family affair.

We think you should visit capemarkets.co.za for more market options, and definitely go see whats happening at www.earthfairmarket.co.za, click on their links for info.

WORLD MARATHON CHALLENGE (Marathons& Sporting Events)

Even if this is just a fantasy, its an awesome one. How's this for a SUPER COOL MARATHON/ SPORTING EVENT, granted one that'l cost you 32 000 EURO's, but a dream marathon non-the less.

Meet the fabulous....

Welcome to the 2016 WORLD MARATHON CHALLENGE, an amazing event that is a logistical and physical challenge like no other, where you run SEVEN marathons, on SEVEN continents, in SEVEN days!!!!

WHAT-THE-FLUGGELBINDERS!!!!

This is for real and totally awesome, and will ONLY cost you R 420 000.00, but if you can do it, its worth it.

So, its like this, participants fly to Union Glacier, ANTARTICA, deep within the Antarctic Circle, to begin this marathon mammoth challenge. 26TH JANUARY 2016 is the big day, and as the marathons starts, you know you have officially 168 HOURS to complete the rest, and end up in AUSTRALIA.

During this most epic time adventure, the competitors will run 42.2km in the Antarctic, then the same distance in Punta Arenas, CHILE, before heading off to to do the same in Miama, USA, Madrid SPAIN, Marrakesh MOROCCO, Dubai UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, and then a casual last run in Sydney, AUSTRALIA. That's, 7 runs, 7 days, 7 continents, 7 x 42.2km, totalling 295.4-ish kms.

You basically run from the Antarctic, to South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia...just don't stop and do sight-seeing, you wont win...ummm, you gotta run, A LOT!

But actually, just picture it, take the idea in, its the ultimate run, yes you will suffer from marathon fatigue, jet lag, and sleep deprivation, as the event gets closer to its final stages, but can you imagine saying to even just yourself, I DID THAT!

The fastest combined runner officially sets a new World Record, its a big thing, doing it, let a lone winning it, and registration for 2016 is already open, but limited, so if you planning this trip, act fast.

And if you look at where you are going, 32 000 Euro's actually isn't a bad some of money, it makes sense.

In 2012 the event came through Cape Town, so lets hope that 2017 will do the same.

To find out more, please do yourself a favour and go to www.worldmarathonchallenge.com
