X-DIRT CROSS TRIATHLON, Buffelspoort, North West. 11 JAN 2015

We are loving this eventing company, we needed another CROSS-TRIATHLON, and they gave it to us. 

In MARATHONS & SPORTING EVENTS this month, that is our focus, CROSS-TRIATHLONS, and this sports eventing company is giving us a good show. They have events everywhere, so don't just focus on the ones we mention, do them all. 

Meet...(again)...

We love Cross Triathlons, its such an awesome combination of OPEN WATER SWIMMING, MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDING, AND TRAIL RUNNING, wow, the best combo by far, and X-DIRT have brought yet another great event, on JAN 11th, 2015. 

It includes a 600m SWIM, 16km MTB & 5km RUN, not too bad, tough enough, but it wont kill you or put you off Triathlons, and again, its such an awesome setting, Buffelspoort in the North West, and you can enter in teams, and bring the kids along, as their is a kiddies version of the race.

ROBERTSON XTRI - NOVEMBER 2014, ROBERTSON, WESTERN CAPE.

Man its hard to choose where to go and what to do!!!! We can NEVER EVER COMPLAIN about not having an interesting and exciting country to live in, or, as said a million times, a beautiful country. Its like leaving would be a sin when there is so much here to do. We want to propose a new law that states that one cannot leave, even for a holiday, until one has totally experienced an entire year of whats on offer.
And yes, that totally includes Wellness Activities.

This month in MARATHONS & SPORTING EVENTS our focus is CROSS-TRIATHLONS, and this week sees us in the beautiful Western Cape where everything is perfect. Dammit, its like no other area stands a chance, but just wait, we'll try.

Meet....

The name says it all, XTRI SOUTH AFRICA presents nothing out of the ordinary, but they are also never off-the-wall, so a complete balance.

The partners/owners completely love the outdoors. They believe that it is a privilege to be blessed with good health and a sense of adventure, but at the same time keeping their families at the central focus of what they do. This we love as its something very transparent in their events, totally family friendly.

Like us they believe that even though living in beautiful parts of the world outside of South Africa, and having travelled to far away places, that their is something magnetic about South Africa and especially the Western Cape.
They are quite well-versed in other great marathons and sporting events such as the Cape Epic, Iron Man, Long Distance Cold Water Swims, Cape Pioneer, to name a few, so you'd imagine that they have a really good idea how to combine family with serious, but totally fun sporting events.

So you may have totally missed the Registration for the ROBERTSON XTRI, but fear not, there is a TULBAGH XTRI next year round about May...to find out more about both events and others, please go and have a good look at their website and contact them direct. X-DIRT CROSS TRIATHLON - HAMMANSKRAAL - PRETORIA - NOVEMBER 3Oth

RIGHT, so time to start getting real, if we are going to review Trail Running, Mountain Bike Racing and Swimming, we think its time to have a little look-see at putting them all together. 
This month in MARATHONS & SPORTING EVENTS we look at CROSS-TRIATHLONS. 
Time for a real challenge...

Meet...

We think TRIATHLONS are a natural progression, and an excellent overall workout, especially the training and preparation for them, and X-DIRT, is geared to supply and manage the entire race infrastructure. 

Having been around for over 6-years, and boasting unequalled experience in delivering quality sporting events, and launched with the intention of growing the endurance sporting events market, X-DIRT is committed to not only organising the events, but to also providing quality courses which are of a superior quality, and are as safe as they are affordable. 

They are everywhere, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Cape Town, and Gauteng, which is where we take you to on NOVEMBER 30TH. We are going to HAMMANSKRAAL, PRETORIA, (also known as Northern Gauteng.)

This is an awesome event, as it involves either a easier 250M SWIM + 6KM BIKE RIDE + 3KM RUN or if you are going to give it wings, a 600M SWIM + 14KM BIKE RIDE + 3KM RUN.
