Bikram Yoga @ GO YOGA JOZI


So, remember our focus for August FITNESS TRAINING & ACTIVITIES is Yoga, but with a little focus on the unknown, or unusual, this week we want to look at Bikram Yoga, cause its like Yoga in a Sauna, sound weird, not actually, its kinda awesome and HIGHLY beneficial. 

Here's why...
Bikram Yoga reduces stress, increases vitality, energy and enhances relaxation.
It increases and improves blood circulation, and keeps joints 'juicy', increases muscle strength around the joints to provide better support when under pressure.

Bikram also improves immunity, and can reduce the symptoms of chronic diseases.
It strengthens the mind, enhances concentration, and promotes well-being. 
Increased flexibility, strength and stamina are a given with regular practise, as well as improved muscle tone, but one our favourite benefits is better sleep, improved weight-loss and a slowing of the ageing process....

The benefits are many, and we think one of the better aspects of the 'heat' part, cause it gets hot ya'll, it that your muscles are so much warmer and more prepared for the exercise, you can do more and risk less.
