Didn't even know about half of whats available out there, LOVE THE INTERNET, and today we are LOVING both ZOMATO.COM & THE LIVING ROOM ECO CAFE in MABONENG.
First, lets meet.....
We love this place, but didn't realise it was seriously health conscious too. Not only are you treated to one of the best views of, and from, inner city Johannesburg, an 'urban jungle oasis', and a venue 'filled to the brim with vertical gardens - tree's and plants', but we are granted the luxury of healthy eating in a stunning organic eco-friendly space, that not only entertains and provides delicious eats, but also sells real live growing examples of the environment in which you are found.
Their menu is awesome, try their Herbal Healer Juice, their Macadamia-Banana & Baobab Smoothie, their Teriyaki Chicken & Halloumi Salad, or their Hearty Falafel with Apricot Cheese, mixed greens, sprouts, onion flakes, per cubes, and creamy herb dressing....or anything else on their menu, as their general base ingredients are all on our healthy eating good list. (And those that aren't, ain't too bad.)
The general environment feels like health, and fun, lots of fun, try their famous Sunday Parties, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT, ever!!!
And we found this on the HEALTHY COLLECTIONS page of ZOMATO JOHANNESBURG, this is our other intro, when you feel like something healthy, and whatever else makes your eating a pleasure, try ZOMATO.COM, it seriously is an awesome up-to-date website with a section called COLLECTIONS, which not only features HEALTHY EATING restaurants, in Jo'burg and the rest of South Africa and the World, but the 'Collections' also includes, LOAD SHEDDING, AMAZING WINGS & RIBS, HIDDEN GEMS, BEST BAKERIES, HIPSTER HANGOUTS, and so many more options. Its actually incredible. Try them.
