PUMA TRAINING SHOES

The one thing we all need, unless you swim, is good training shoes, but where to go and what type or brand to buy is ALWAYS the difficult challenge trio of questions.

This month in PRODUCTS & APPAREL, we focus on TRAINING SHOES, what our options are, what your needs are, which are the best brands per need, and where we get our hands on these 1st stop items.

Meet, possibly one of the coolest, most fashionable brands....

WOW, Google PUMA and you'll get way more than you bargained for.

But lets sum this up, we'll let us try, why we LOVE Puma....

PUMA wins handsdown when it comes to Fashionable Training Gear, I mean, for reals, they have collaborative efforts with Alexander McQueen, Sophia Chang, House of Hackney, BWGH and MIHARAYASUHIRO....BEAT THAT?! HOW?!

Look their clothing and shoes are simple beautiful, true mantel piece items, but lets get down to the nitty-gritty, would you let the gear get dirty, and would the gear get you there faster, garedr and meaner...um...YES, its PUMA, duh?!

They specialize in 4 categories of training shoes/ gear, Running, Football, Golf & Fitness. We think they are the leaders in Golf & Football trainers, but damn, we love the rest too.

They have stores all over South Africa, but go online to PUMA STORES to find out where, but then also do yourself a favour and have a look at the entire site, starting at the home page @ global.puma.com, and find out more about who they sponsor, what their goals are, what their brand represents...such an interesting read. You can also get Puma at most sports & fitness stores.

Also whats exciting is their local, South African, PUMA SELECT, which fuses performance with culture and fashion by revisiting PUMA's rich history and innovation as a leading sports brand, and combining this with their philosophy of creating premium products for the willing customer. They have partnered with some of the most influential streetwear labels, fashion houses and creatives the world has to offer.
The PUMA SELECT store/s will showcase streetwear collections that include Alexander McQueen, MMQ (Machts Mit Qualitat), Miharayashuhiro, the Trinomic XS850 OG (Original) pack, and CREAM, a oroduct line tha will showcase designer collabs such as BWGH (Brooklyn We Go Hard).

There is a Cape Town store and a JOZI store, but go to www.pumaselect.co.za  to find out more.

YOGA SAFARIS...? (we love this too.)

FITNESS TRAINING & ACTIVITIES brings us Yoga this month, but remember, we're trying to find a few 'not-quite-the-norm' versions or approaches to Yoga. And this, we think, takes the cake.

HOW BRILLIANT!

Their aim at Southern Africa Yoga Safaris and Holidays is to provide one with a unique experience, combining Yoga practise with night game drives, early morning meditations, indulgent massages or hot oil therapies, delicious vegetarian meals and LOTS of peace & tranquillity in a healthy environment.

On their retreats they aim to take ones inner Yogic journey even deeper, using the assistance of sound therapy, yoga massage, hot oils, asanas, meditation & pranayama to encourage you into a deeper more relaxed state of being.

You host is a fully qualified Yoga teacher (trained in Naski, India), who is Alis a qualified personal trainer & physical therapist. You will be evaluated ensuring you receive the best Yoga exercise or your ability.

Groups are no larger than 10 people, no previous experience is required, accommodation is unique and only vegetarian meals are served.

These Yoga Safaris and Retreats are not merely getaways, but the information shared with you provides principles which can be used in everyday life, enhancing your health, balance and stress management.

Just look at the images below, pure bliss, add to that Yoga and good eating, what better space could you put your body in.

Find them @ www.sayogasafaris.com
